My girls are so good at it and have so much patience. I’m always amazed!

That’s quite a fish! (ewww!) ๐Ÿ™‚ Looks like they had a blast.

My neighbor actually took two of those home and made them for dinner… fried catfish!

I never went fishing, but the better half wants to go. I can see myself sitting in the boat and reading. That sounds like a good way to spend a day. Glad they had fun.

I would just sit and read in a boat, too. At the lake I help with the bait and stuff…

Yay for them – they caught some! I used to love fishing when I was younger.
Did they take the fish off the line themselves? My dad always insisted I couldn’t come fishing unless I baited the hook and released my own catch. LOL But I wanted to come so bad, I learned.

Middle does it all herself. Little One still needs help. I had to learn when I started taking the boy fishing…

They caught some great sized fish! Awesome!

Yes, they did. Both of them were very happy! ๐Ÿ™‚

I’ve been debating buying my 3 year old a fishing pole. I don’t want her to think of fishing as a boy’s hobby. I’m glad to see your girls enjoy it!

My girls enjoy it more than my boy does. Go for it. Start her with a cute Dora or Princess rod!!! ๐Ÿ™‚

    did they really catch that?

They really did, Hilary. I was too busy snapping away and also helping untangle messed up rods!!!
