Five Questions… and Five Answers

October 19, 2012

I’ve decided to try something new for a change and instead of filling in Hilary’s blank statements, I will answer Mama M.’s  5 questions.

So, here goes!!!

1. Where do you hide junk when people come over?

If I don’t have enough time to do a thorough cleaning before people come over, I’ll do a quick run through (driving the family crazy in the process) and put things away in closets, cabinets and the multitude of bins we have in the family room… great for putting all the kids’ toys away so it doesn’t look so cluttered.

2. Do political ads help you decide who you are going to vote for?

I’ve pretty much decided whom I’m going to vote for so the ads don’t sway me one way or another. I’m very excited to be able to vote for the first time since coming to this country.

3. What’s your favorite holiday party to host?

We used to have New Year’s parties a few years in a row and it was always a lot of fun getting ready for those and then ring in the new year with everyone watching the ball drop in Times Square!

4. You go to an island with your husband and can only take one personal item. What is it?

Wow. That’s a tough one. Probably my toothbrush… I hate it when my teeth feel dirty.

5. If you found out your spouse was a Dexter style serial killer (only kills people to save others) would you rat?

Hmmm. I have never watched Dexter so I can’t really compare it would depend I guess.

Well, this was fun. Something new and different!!! I’m always up for a little change. 🙂

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

xo, Susi

It’s one of my biggest pet peeves. I hate when my teeth feel dirty!

I’m not telling you where I hide my junk cuz then you’d look, wouldn’t you? Heehee. And toothbrush! Good one! Is a cell phone considered a personal item? 😉

And I’ve never seen Dexter either. Is it on Netflix? I might watch it now. Thanks.

New Year for you, Christmas for me! I love Christmas – all its smells too!

I’m so excited for you to be able to vote here for the first time! I have not decided who to vote for yet because each time I think I know I hear something that really turns me off of that candidate. Ug, decisions, decisions. I really do hate the ads because they only tell me things that are confusing and don’t say a thing about what each person believes.

It does get confusing and I’m not really a big fan of politics but not having the choice for so long it’s important to me to go out and cast my vote. It’s also a bit exciting to have the last debate in my adopted hometown.

    Cute post.
I’d probably also take my toothbrush. Or maybe some lip balm. My lips would get dry. 🙂
I’ve heard your car trunk is a good place to stash stuff fast when people are coming over. But I haven’t tried it yet.

Holly, never thought of the trunk. And I have a big one. Lots of room to stash stuff. Good thinking on the lip balm… I’d need that too. 🙂
