Now that the weather is a lot cooler and much less humid, it’s fun to explore the wetlands again and see what’s going on. I was surprised by how many birds are already there again, building nests and making noise. I’d been itching to get out and have some fun with my camera for a little photo therapy, as I like to call it.

Sometimes a walk on the beach with your teenage daughter is just what you need. The sand between your toes. Seagulls flying overhead. A breeze ruffling through your hair. The steady sound of the waves. Feeding our souls…
A good way to spend an afternoon before the craziness of the new school year starts…
“If you see something that moves you, and you snap it, you keep a moment.” ~Linda McCartney
I love a good quote. Don’t you?
Hello and welcome to my new blog. Here it's all about my passion and most favorite hobby – photography.
When I started my first blog BocaFrau about 6 years ago, I did it to see if I could somehow make a small side income since I was a stay-at-home mom. The blog opened up a whole new world to me and besides connecting me with moms all over the world, it also unlocked my love for photography. Over the last few years, I've blogged less and less as my life changed and I became a full-time working mom of now older kids, including two teens.
But photography has remained a constant. It relaxes me and makes me happy.
I decided to start over, from scratch so to speak, and let my photos shine…
"To me, photography is an art of observation. It's about finding something interesting in an ordinary place… I've found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them." ~Elliot Erwitt
